Rules & Guidelines

Please review the contest rules carefully and ensure your submission meets all eligibility, participation, and pitch requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Open to Bangladeshi citizens and registered entities. Participants must be 18+ years old. Teams can have 1-5 members. Government employees and immediate family of judges/organizers are not eligible.

Originality & IP Rights

All ideas must be original work of the participant(s). No plagiarism or third-party IP infringement. Participants retain full IP ownership. EATL gets non-exclusive rights to showcase submissions for promotional purposes.

Submission Requirements

Complete the online application with: problem statement, solution description, target market, business model canvas, competitive analysis, and team details. Optional: prototype demo, traction metrics, or pitch deck (max 10 slides).

Team Composition

Teams of 1-5 members. One member designated as Team Lead for communications. All members must meet eligibility. Team changes allowed only before submission deadline with organizer approval. Cross-institutional teams welcome.

Pitch Presentation

Shortlisted teams get 5 minutes for pitch + 3 minutes Q&A. Present in English or Bengali. Slides must be submitted 48 hours before pitch day. No live demos required but encouraged. Virtual attendance allowed with prior notice.

FAQ

All participants must maintain professional conduct. Harassment, discrimination, or unethical behavior will result in immediate disqualification. Respect intellectual property, confidentiality, and competition integrity. Decisions of the judging panel are final and binding.

  • Providing false/misleading information in application
  • Violating IP rights or submitting plagiarized work
  • Missing deadlines without prior approval
  • Team member not meeting eligibility criteria
  • Attempting to influence judges or organizers

Shortlist Announcement:15th December 2026
Mentor Sessions:16-25 December 2026
Grand Finale:28-29 December 2026 (Dhaka)

Cash prizes awarded via bank transfer within 30 days post-event. All finalists receive: mentor matching, investor introductions, media exposure, coworking access, and EATL Innovation Hub alumni network membership. Winners get priority access to EATL incubation programs and follow-on funding opportunities.

By participating, you consent to: processing of personal data for contest administration, use of submission materials for promotional purposes (website, social media, press), photography/video recording at events. Data retained per Bangladesh Digital Security Act. Opt-out requests honored post-event.
